Today we will have Reed Schrad from Makers Making Change speaking to the briefs and fielding questions.

Please take the time now to write down at least one question you have about the briefs.

Answering project questions

There are some questions that have come up that it would be good for me to answer more communally.

Am I allowed to change my brief this week?

End of class today (March 26) is the last point you can change briefs.

When can I change details on the plan until?

Start of class next week (April at 4:30pm) is the deadline for stating what you are delivering.

Is what I said what I deliver?

Yes. What you tell me you are delivering is what I expect, word counts, grade weight, and form inclusive.

Can the same content for P3 (individual) be enough?

Yes, though I recommend referencing the issues that came up in P2 for how to ensure your project is high quality.

How can I do primary research?

Sorry, in some cases you will not be able to access the target population so you will have to explore other primary research methods.

If we are propsing a physical prototype do we need to build it?

Yes, we should have a physical prototype to see/touch if you are proposing one. Maja in Solid Space is aware that you may make an appearance and/or request time.

  • Wednesday, April 1 from 6:30-7:30pm (in-person or remote).
  • Tuesday, April 7 from 3-4pm (remote).

Changes to existing office hours:

  • Monday, March 30th 10-11am office hours are cancelled.
