This is old content
Andrew is not currently teaching IAT-334. This material is left online for reference only.
Heuristic assessments
This week you will be continuing working on P2. Responses to some questions that came up:
- Yes, you can use the template provided in P2 as-is for your heuristic assessment.
- You can assess the Canvas Calendar feature on mobile or desktop platforms. Choose one platform only though.
P2 in-lecture critiques
The second half of our June 15 lecture will be one-on-one critique time with Ladan or Andrew. Attending an in-lecture critique timeslot means you do not need to attend your lab timeslots.
There are five timeslots available for each of D101, D102, and D103. To sign up email Andrew or message Andrew over the course chat. Slots are first-come, first-served.
Next lecture
Future lectures and announcements will be released on Thursdays. Please email Andrew if you have any concerns with the change in plans.
The next pre-recorded lecture portion is available at https://andrewh.ca/teaches/interface_design/lectures/05/video. Please watch it before our lecture time.
During our lecture time this week we will:
- 10:30-11:10 — critique sketching exercise and recap upcoming course items. This will not be recorded.
- 11:10-11:20 — mandatory zoom break.
- 11:20-12:20 — pre-scheduled time to meet with Ladan or Andrew and get P3 critique. These will be one-on-one critiques that you must sign up for.
Next labs
Please head to your lab Zoom room (D101/D102 or D103) when your time is. You may just have to wait a couple of minutes while Ladan wraps up with the previous person.
If you do not see your name on the list or have concerns with your assigned time please email Andrew or message him on chat.
