Fantastical features
This week you will be bringing your P1: Features initial app and feature explorations to designated lab meeting times (D101 times, D102 times, D103 times).
P1 times clarification
Thank-you to whoever pointed out that the delivery times for the projects did not accommodate the Thursday labs and apologies for the oversight! I have updated the project brief to include the Thursday lab time in the description. You may just have to refresh the page.
Please remember that deliverables are due for your lab time every week.
Office hours
While Ladan will always be available by appointment, Andrew will be available for regular office hours On Zoom (linked on Canvas) on:
- Mondays from 21:30-22:30 (PST)
- Wednesdays from 10:15-11:15 (PST)
Please email Andrew or message him on the course chat to let him know you will be attending. There are also some regular weekly times that Andrew will be available at for quick questions or feedback over the course chat.
Next lecture
The next pre-recorded lecture portion is available at https://andrewh.ca/teaches/interface_design/lectures/02/video. Sorry, this one is a bit rambly. They will be less rambly in future! Please watch it before our lecture time.
During our lecture time this week we will:
- 10:30-11:30 — critique the sketching exercise. This will not be recorded.
- 11:30-11:40 — mandatory zoom break.
- 11:40-12:20 — this session will not be recorded, and will be open time to:
- do the weekly reading and start working on the reading reflection,
- start the sketching exercise,
- or pose questions to Andrew.
Next labs
We are setting scheduled times to meet with Ladan on a weekly basis. These times will stay the same until the next project. If you have concerns with your assigned time please email Andrew.
Please head to your lab Zoom room (D101/D102 or D103) when your time is. You may just have to wait a couple of minutes while Ladan wraps up with the previous person.
If you do not see your name on the list — for example you joined the course from the waitlist or are on the waitlist — please email Andrew or message him on chat to organize a time for some feedback.
