Instructions

While reading or after reading "Your Personal Design Language" (Hoang, 2023) please highlight sentences in the text that help you think about your portfolio's identity.

Once done highlighting, please:

1. State what type of practice — artistic, design, music, film, etc. — your portfolio is presenting.
2. When practicing what your portfolio presents, state what values or ethics you consider.
3. Please explain one reason why you believe the values or ethics you consider are important in the context of your practice.
4. Please explain one way how your portfolio will help readers understand your values and ethics.

Submission

Your responses can be submitted anytime before the end of lecture on Nov 22 to Andrew in class.

Grading

This reading reflection is worth 5% (5 points) of your final grade.

• 0.5 points for submitting your reading with highlights as requested.
• 0.5 points for clearly stating what type of practice your portfolio is presenting.
• 1 point for clearly stating what values and ethics you consider when doing the type of work presented in your portfolio.
• 1 point for a clear and on-topic explanation of why you believe the values or ethics you consider are important in the context of your practice.
• 2 points for a clear and on-topic explanation of how your portfolio will help readers understand your values and ethics.

• You only need to complete two reflections over the term.
• There are eight available.
• You may complete up to three reflections and the lowest grade will be dropped.
