Instructions

This week's sketching exercise prepares layout options for your presentation slides. There are a couple of steps to this week's sketching exercise:

  1. Sketch out low-fidelity layout options of each your presentation slides.
  2. Refine each sketch to medium-fidelity. Consider how you can clarify relationships of content through:
    • Use of proximity
    • Use of similarity
    • Use of continuance
    • Clear hierarchy of content
    • Clear contrast

Please remember to explore at least twenty options at low fidelty, and then refine three of them to medium fidelity.

Submission

Once done, please scan or photograph your sketches for submission as one JPG file. You will be graded on completing the number of sketches required and the readability of your sketches.

You are allowed to use this exercise as part of your project.

Your submission is due to Canvas before 8:00am on Nov 1.

Please note that sketches may be shared and discussed in class.

Please avoid putting your name on your submission as a result. If you make a mistake with your submission, feel free to resubmit before the deadline.
